Prayer Requests – 19th March 2017

Prompts For Your Prayers This Week …

  • 22 million people suffering and dying through famine in East African countries, including South Sudan, Nigeria and Somalia – and also in Yemen. Give thanks for the money given so far and pray that God would open doors for effective aid to reach those in need quickly

  • There are tens of millions of displaced people, refugees and migrants across the world. Pray for people at all levels who work to support them not to be overwhelmed but to be able to bring genuine help and comfort

  • All the bereaved and those preparing for funerals of family and friends

  • Give thanks that the Easter Holiday Club is now full. Pray for the team to continue to work well together, to make good and timely decisions about practicalities and to deliver not only a good experience but also clear, engaging Bible teaching with Christian content

  • Give thanks that planning permission has been granted so that building work for the new school can begin on schedule. Pray for senior staff, governors and other officials who have the pressures of responsibility – and for good decisions and relationships when challenges arise

  • Each of us as we seek to be godly in serving the Lord within this church family. Pray that our Annual Meeting would be a time for thanksgiving and renewal of our commitment to serve God’s call. Pray for God’s hand to direct and provide for the election/appointment of people to the PCC, including a new churchwarden
