Prayer Requests – 20th November 2016

To Consider As You Pray This Week…

  • All adults taking responsibility for the care and education of children whether at home or at school; that they would be granted the sensitivity and the skill to show them appropriate love and respect and have sufficient stamina to keep going and be good role models. For Christians to be witnesses to God’s love and grace in their daily parenting

  • Government of countries such as the USA, where changes to leadership provoke many tensions. Ask God to raise up clear voices for justice and compassion where there are great social, religious and economic pressures. Remember the people of South Sudan, Ethiopia, Philippines, Turkey, Columbia, Pakistan and across the Middle East where the stability of politics and leadership appear so vulnerable

  • All who are suffering and all who are working to help their recovery after the earthquakes in Italy and New Zealand. Pray for God’s mercy to bring relief for physical needs and for many to discover his presence to meet their spiritual needs

  • Those in our congregation caring for relatives or handling significant family events

  • For the people from our congregation and other local churches attending a CPAS Leaders training course. To be led more by Jesus; to lead more like Jesus; to lead more to Jesus

  • Those who are under stress because of the pressure of work or considering life changes

  • As building plans take shape pray for God’s hand on the development of the new Riseley Primary School (September 2017)  that it would become a valued part of and contributor to our community
