Prayer Requests – 28th August 2016

To Consider As You Pray This Week …

  • People affected by the earthquake in Italy and its aftermath. The bereaved; anyone still trapped and awaiting rescue; all emergency and relief workers; political leaders; survivors who no longer have a home
  • Pupils, staff & students preparing for a new term and especially for those who face significant new challenges or changes in the light of exam results
  • Pray for the ongoing discussions regarding the practical requirements for moving toward the establishing of one Riseley Primary School. Pray for decisions that will minimise disruption while enabling long lasting benefits
  • That God would frustrate and block the plans of those whose ambitions bring suffering to others and that he would give success to those who are working to negotiate peace, compassionate care and stability. Particularly pray for Christians seeking to show God’s love in places such as Aleppo and Syrian cities under siege
