Prayer Requests – 6th March 2016

To Pray For This Week…

  • Pray on this Mothering Sunday that church families would be places of sincere welcome in which a true reflection of God’s love may be found

  • All those for whom motherhood  – given, received or missed  – is a painful memory , that they may find comfort to help and heal in the love of God

  • Give thanks for some genuine breaks to fighting in parts of Syria. Pray that the ‘cease fire’  would open up further opportunities for effective negotiations leading to the overcoming of oppressive groups. Pray for courage for Christians seeking to live out their faith in witness and works

  • For every official facing the pressure of handling migrants to do their job well but with compassion. Pray for all who are aiming to improve the circumstances and living conditions for those in transit or stuck far away from home

  • Pray that the remaining places on the Road Runners Holiday Club would be filled in good time and for children to attend who will benefit most from the experience

  • For all new parents and those preparing for a birth – pray they will be able to adjust to the demands of a new baby

  • The recently bereaved and their families

  • Boldness for Christian students active in missions at universities and colleges. For God to open spiritually blind eyes to see the glory of God in the face of Christ. (See 2 Cor 4:1-6)
