Prayer Requests – 31st May 2015

To prompt your prayers this week…

  • That we would consider how to present Jesus Christ as Lord to those around us and that God would make his light shine into many hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:5-6)

  • Christians living in places of conflict and persecution. That God would help them to know he is present with them and give them courage to show the light of Christ by their words and conduct

  • All students preparing for and sitting exams, especially those whose future plans are determined by specific results. Pray that Christians would actively seek for and learn to trust God’s direction in their lives

  • Individuals, households and families facing work related pressures. Pray for patience and a godly perspective to bring peace and the ability to persevere

  • The sick, bereaved and grieving to have strength and patience

  • Refugees and asylum seekers as they look for a safe place to live. Pray they would receive respectful treatment and for international cooperation to produce quickly the necessary resources to help them
