Prayer Requests – 19th October 2014

In your prayers please remember

 

  • All who are offering care to the individuals and communities affected by Ebola; medical workers, organisers, educators, pastors and counsellors. Ask that God would open the way to an effective means of reversing the spread to bring containment and healing

 

  • All Saints, All TogetherOur church weekend away 24th-26th October. The speaker, Tim Hanson – and that there would be a lasting benefit for God’s mission in Riseley and Bletsoe

 

  • Many of the clergy of St Albans Diocese (including Martin Bailey) meeting for their triennial conference this week. Pray that God would encourage strengthen and stir up his servants to honour him in mission and pastoral care in all the churches, including Riseley and Bletsoe

 

  • Those recovering from or facing operations and receiving medical treatment

 

  • Those with a particular concern for the health of a family member to know how to give the best support and in a godly way

 

  • Those with chronic conditions to have patience

 

  • Pray that God would stand in the way of every leader and individual responsible for destructive violence and grant success to anyone whose words or actions are designed to bring peace and safety
